Washington Association Family and Consumer Science Educators
The mission of the Family and Consumer Sciences Educators section of WA-ACTE is to provide leadership and services to the members through advocacy, education, networking, and recognition. Members are valued as professionals facing the challenges of empowering individuals and families in a diverse global society.
To that end, scholarships of $350/person will be offered each year for both the WA-ACTE Summer Conference and for the Washington FCS Annual Conference in October. For each conference, one scholarship will be available to a member at-large, and one to a current FACSE Executive Board member. The purpose is to enable attendance at a conference when the costs of attending are otherwise an obstacle. Funds will be reimbursed by check from the association treasurer, to an individual or their school district, upon receipt of appropriate documentation. They may cover registration and/or lodging up to a total of $350 per scholarship.
