The future of the fashion industry depends on encouraging, and exciting, high school students to pursue fashion as a career. To that end, the eighth annual FASHION INDUSTRY CONFERENCE, sponsored by the partnership between the Washington State Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction, Fashion Group International, and Washington State high schools and colleges, will be held April 25, 2020 in Ellensburg, Washington. The day will feature 10 hands-on student workshops, a university student fashion show, lunch, door prizes, swag bags, and keynote speaker.
The mission of the Fashion Industry Conference is to educate and mentor high school students interested in a career in fashion.
This event is created in cooperation with Central Washington University, FIDM, Washington State University, Seattle Central College, WA-FCCLA and the Greater Seattle Chapter of the American Sewing Guild.
