Brief Description: The applicant must possess or be eligible to attain a Washington State Teacher Certification in Career and Technical Education with endorsement in Family And Consumer Sciences Education (FACSE). The position requires a high degree of collaboration with students, families, staff and administration to deliver high quality instruction in a comprehensive high school. The teaching assignment will depend upon the strengths of the applicant relative and complimentary to the department; and may include, but not be limited to Early Childhood Development, Nutrition and Wellness, Relationships, Culinary Arts, and potentially Advanced Placement Psychology. The assignment requires the teaching of 21st Century Skills, extended student leadership activities, and full participation with the business community through engagement with CTE Advisory Committees. Staff members are expected to contribute to a professional learning community through cross-department collaboration and integrated activities for student success. |

Job Title: Teacher MS Math and CTE Robotics/Technology |

Brief Description: This position will teach Math half-time and CTE Robotics half-time.
Position requires a high level of interest and enthusiasm for teaching students in the content areas of mathematics and robotics. The successful candidate will possess leadership attributes indicative of success for collaborating with teachers and administrators to learn and grow as a professional teacher in Tacoma Public Schools. Leadership and participation in a district-wide professional learning community of robotics teachers, industry-involved robotics advisory committee, and coordination/supervision of student competitions for FIRST LEGO League Robotics is an expectation of this position.
