Brief Description: SUMMARY: The high school teacher will create a dynamic Family Consumer Science Program and a class environment favorable to learning and personal growth. This person will teach district curriculum to improve student achievement, establish effective rapport with students, motivate students to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed to provide a good foundation for middle school education in accordance with each student’s ability. This individual will work enthusiastically to provide an exceptional educational experience to our students. 7 hr/day, 5 day/wk, 180/yr plus extended days. Non-continuing leave replacement to begin in the 2016/17 school year.
